Thane fruit seller caught on camera urinating in plastic bag, arrested

A 20-year-old man was arrested in Thane’s Dombivali district on Sunday after a video of him allegedly urinating into a plastic bag and continuing to sell fruits without washing his hands went viral on social media.
According to Manpada Police, the incident took place in a market in Nilje area in Dombivali and the man was identified as Ali Khan.
After the video went viral, locals entered the market and vandalised it.
People reached the spot and the situation is under control in the region.
Khan has been arrested under Sections 271 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) 272 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and 296 (obscenity) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and further investigation is on.
